This week, we’re focused on celebrating dance and what it means to us. At Jackrabbit, we are honored to work with dance studio owners and love hearing about their passion. I love to see dance studio owners and teachers connect to share the love! Keep an eye out for the other posts in the National Dance Week series to meet some other awesome Jackrabbit Dance users!
Alicats Dance and More: Â Alison Woodbury, owner, has been teaching for over 20 years. The studio is 4,000 sp ft and averages 150 students.Students can choose from a range of Music, Dance, and Kung Fu available at the same time. The smaller class sizes allow students to get more individual instruction from teachers and, as a result, progress at a faster level than in a large class environment
1 –Â Why do you dance?
Dance is like air to me –Â I can’t imagine my life without it!

To teach others the thing I am passionate about most in life – the love of dance!
3 – What did you want to be when you grew up?
I always knew I would have something to do with dance. I never imagined owning a studio, but here I am!
4 – What is your biggest challenge and how do you overcome it?
My biggest challenge through dance was overcoming the stereotype. I wasn’t blessed with the perfect body, however I worked harder to be better than those that were!

Love. Everything you do should be done with love!
