As each year ends and another begins, it’s nice to take a minute and reflect. 2014 was a great year at Jackrabbit. We celebrated our 10th year in business, added a couple team members, and completed over 100 enhancements to our software. Woo!
Here’s a quick look at the top enhancements our development team completed for 2014:
1 – A fresh, new look – Cleaner, simpler user interface. Same speedy, one-click navigation. Zero training required.
2 – Email templates – We added email templates to each database for typical email communications with clients. The templates include exciting graphics and text. They are also customizable to your organization.
To see the email templates, go to Tools->Edit Email Templates. Please read the “Template Instructions” which is the first email template listed for full information.
3 – Email attachments using Dropbox – Email pages have the option to add a Dropbox attachment to send files to customers.
When sending emails you will see a new option labeled “Choose from Dropbox” button. This will take you into your Dropbox account to select the file to attach. Read more here.
4 – Events – Online registration and announcements – Events have been updated with an option to allow parents to enroll a student online. You can also include general announcements on your online Event Calendar! Read more here.
5 – Multiple cards on file – The ability to save up to 3 credit cards on file per Family/Account is available to all Jackrabbit clients who are using our preferred gateway providers * .To use this feature, go to Tools>Edit Settings and change the “Allow Multiple Cards on File” setting = “Yes”.
