A new setting was added in each staff person’s Portal Settings tab, called Allow this staff person to enter attendance with yes/no options. The default setting for this for all staff is Yes.
When this setting is changed to No, the staff portal changes so that staff can still see a list of students in the attendance tab but will not be able to click on the Present or Absent buttons. This might come in handy if your managers enter attendance instead of teachers or if there is important student information you would like to share with your teachers in the staff portal.
